Hi there! Welcome to week 20 of my 52 week photo project! My birthday was this past Tuesday (MAY 13!) so you know I had to do my own birthday portrait! When I photograph people, I really like to have something in the photo that represents them in one way or another. It could be a physical object or something intangible. So if you know me pretty well, you know that I am not a fan of "growing up". I'm not really sure of anyone that is actually excited about it now that I think of it. If you are one of those people, more to ya! However, I am not. I'm such a child at heart and I wouldn't have it any other way. I attempted to have a photo of a "first birthday cake smash" but I really wasn't about having dessert smeared all over my face. I may be a kid at heart, but that doesn't mean I'm cool with being sticky and everything.
