Hello all! So if you haven't noticed, portrait photography is what I really love to do. However, I didn't want this project to become 52 portraits (although, now that I think about it that would have been really interesting.. dang it!). Anyway, I wanted this project to expand my photographic skills so that I could grow as an artist and not just know one thing. As of lately, my mind has definitely been all over the place. For this week's photo, I decided to slow down a bit and instead of trying to plan out a detailed photo, I just wanted to do something simple. It wasn't until the moment after I took this picture that I remembered I had taken almost the exact same photo 7 years ago. It was that photo that inspired me to pursue photography. I realize that it's a very kitschy photograph, but it was the simplicity and beauty in it that captures me. I hope you can see the same. Enjoy & let me know your thoughts. :)
